John Gaines Walling

John Gaines Walling was born in the Republic of Texas.  He married Laura Buchanan in 1863 in Limestone County, TX.  She died after her third child was born.   John married Matilda Bankston in 1872 in Limeatone County.  They had four more children.  They lived in Limestone County and were loyal citizens of Texas.
